Following the Olovian youth militia's assault on northeastern Romansyah on 24 November, 2023, tensions escalated further between the Mikaelist faction, along with Fhauzan Amrizal supporters, and the Olovian-central government, which led to a conflict dubbed as the "Ojan Crisis," named after the nickname of Fhauzan Amrizal, the key figure of the conflict.

On the next day, Fhauzan Amrizal announced that a series of attacks were anticipated on 27 November, 2023, and claimed that Olovian involvement in Ondernaming would end as a result of the attacks. Fhauzal's announcement was viewed as a threat by the Olovian-central government and was declared that Fhauzan Amrizal might lead a third mass conflict in Ondernaming, following the prior 2021-2023 insurgency in Ondernaming and the 2023 Ondernaming civil-conflict.

However, on 27 November, 2023, at around 16:05 PM (UTC+7), the Olovian president Saleh A.H carried out an attack on Mikaelist militias in the northwestern Romansyah area, Ondernaming. In response, Mikaelist sergeant Putra Khairudin Akbar launched a counterattack. Fhauzan Amrizal was not present, and his attempt for series of attacks on Olovian soldiers did not occur.

On the same day, likely around 16:50 PM (UTC+7), Mikaelist sergeant Iban Rasya declared a ceasefire between both sides, Iban Rasya's declaration was later agreed by Olovian president Saleh A.H, which then led to a temporary ceasefire for at least six days. Following the declaration, Saleh A.H went to Northeastern Ondernaming and commanded the Northeastern-Ondernaming Squad II/Yudis of the Olovian National Army (O.N.A) to conduct patrols in the Northeastern Ondernaming region, aimed at securing the region from any potential threats.
