On 19 April 2023, At around 00:18 (UTC+7), Mikael Djatdanil, governor of Ondernaming, decided to form a political-rally, in order to oppose the Saleh administration.
Mikael coined the name of the rally, the anti-Saleh faction, as an opposing rally against the Saleh administration in Ondernaming. He declares himself as the chief of the rally.
According to our reporters, the rally estimated over 14 people participated, also including 5 Indonesian civilians in Ondernaming. It resulted in as a mass demonstration on the main streets of Ondernaming.
As emotions ran high, a group of factions tried to organize a peaceful rallying in the heart of Ondernaming. As they gathered in the main street, holding banners and voicing their concerns with passion and determination. Their intention was to draw attention to their cause and engage in a dialogue with the Olovian-central government, and Mikael's incumbency.
Mikael, along with his supporters, had a different agenda, fueled by desire for chaos. They began provoking the peaceful protesters, inciting violence, and spreading hatred towards president Saleh A.H.
Roadside stalls were immediately closed, streets were set ablaze, and the main roads of Ondernaming became a thrilling scene of an emerging chaos. Pyrotechnics were fired throughout the night, which were intended by Mikael's rally.
The rallying lasted at around 01:34 (UTC+7), due to disturbance towards elderly and local civilians at midnight.
Firly, the leading participant of the anti-Saleh faction, insulted and harassed the relatives of president Saleh A.H by making threats through WhatsApp. However, at that time, Mikael claimed that the actions of Firly were not guilty.
Instead, the leading figures of the anti-Saleh faction claimed that Firly's actions is "very admirable" and has become a campaign of the faction.
